Linetec is the nation’s largest independent architectural metals finishing company. They offer high-performance architectural coatings, including fluoropolymer PVDF (Kynar®) paint, powder paint and eco-friendly acid etch anodize. They also provide thermal improvement services, stretch forming and repair/restoration services. Linetec was established in 1983 to fulfill a niche in the coating of architectural products as there was increased demand by architects for windows of different colors. Through the years, Linetec has developed a paint library of over 60,000 colors and become the largest architectural paint and anodizing finisher in the United States.

Based in Wausau, Linetec is part of a network of architectural and finishing manufacturers owned by Apogee Enterprises, Inc. and is the sister company of Wausau Window and Wall Systems. While Linetec serves customers across the country for finishing such products as aluminum windows, wall systems, doors, skylights, and other architectural metal components, their work can also be found locally. The Family Entertainment Center at WOW as well as Tommy’s Car Wash in Wausau and Weston are two of the many examples of how Linetec has contributed to communities in Northcentral Wisconsin.

Linetec is actively hiring for production positions starting at $19.00/hour with up to an additional $3.00/hour for premium shifts. In addition to competitive employee benefits like medical dental, and vision insurance, Linetec offers tuition reimbursement, 401k with generous company contribution, and 5 ½ weeks of paid time off. Shifts at Linetec are also unique in their flexibility, with the option for employees to work 8-hours shift Monday – Friday, 10-hour shifts Monday – Thursday, or be a part of a 2-week rotation of 12-hour shifts. Most shifts do include overtime as needed.
